A miniature hot springs are everywhere around the shore. Perfect spot to
warm up a tin coffee.
With thanks and good wishes, till next summer.
We persisted till we see yet another Amemasu to finish it off. And before

Just when we were about to leave!!

As ugly fish that often disappoints us. But at this size, worth taking
a picture or two.
What a joke! Clown jewel of the lake!
A solid fish gulped down my mayfly dry.
In popular fishing spots Amemasu can become fly-wise quickly. It often

Evening walk to Kamui kotan - the village's main square decorated with

A lovely fish with a plump golden belly.

The weather was improving rapidly. The summerly breeze passing over the
lake was a treat.

Though typical of the area, the weather was so very changeable. We got
wet, dried, and then drenched again.
Though the sun didn't come out the air warmed up to 18c. Hatches were numerous,
and fish started to boil happily.
